Support the White Coat Program
Those who wear the white coat accept the responsibilities of their professions and confirm their commitment to practicing with integrity and wisdom.
At Des Moines University, the white coat has an additional meaning: community. In recent years, DMU alumni and friends have supported the University’s annual White Coat Ceremony, during which students in the osteopathic medicine, podiatric medicine, physician assistant and physical therapy programs don their white coats. Students know this special event is made possible by generous donors.
Please celebrate your connection to DMU and these future fellow health care professionals by becoming a White Coat Program supporter. You will be a hero to DMU students and underscore the professional responsibility and dedication the white coat symbolizes. You also will inspire students to one day become heroes, too, with their own support of this wonderful tradition.
DMU is now accepting contributions to support first year students. Please make your gift before the White Coat Ceremony to support the first year white coat recipients.
